Policeman tortures shopkeeper in Karachi

KARACHI - Local police registered a case against a police official for torturing a shopkeeper who demanded five rupees for a photostat copy. 

According to details, a high police officer’s guards and son manhandled the shopkeeper who asked for money for a photostat copy. Later, they took him away in city area of Sachal. 

When contacted by the family of the victim, Sachal police declined to cooperate.

SHO Sachal police station said the dispute arose on certain personal issues and a case has been registered in this connection.
