ISPR denies Pasha meeting Munter, Khan

RAWALPINDI: A spokesman of ISPR has categorically and strongly denied a news report which appeared in Sunday Times, claiming that PTI chairman Imran Khan was introduced to US Ambassador Cameron Munter in Pakistan in the presence of DG ISI Lieutenant General Ahmad Shuja Pasha.
It is totally baseless and concocted story, spokesman concluded.
It is important to mention that the mentioned UK paper claimed that Imran Khan is said to have gained the backing of the country’s powerful security establishment, which has grown tired of the corruption pervading the two traditional political groupings, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), led by President Asif Ali Zardari, and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), led by Nawaz Sharif.
